BigRig Billboards let owner-operators earn additional monthly income by advertising on trailers or box trucks they own, during the normal course of their routes. There are no detours, no schedule changes, and no added work—drivers continue operating normally while approved advertisers pay for exposure generated by real miles in real traffic.

No Downtime During Installation

There is no downtime required to participate. Installation and removal are handled by our team and are typically completed during a standard 10-hour reset period- oftentimes at a truck stop while you sleep. Drivers continue running their normal routes with no interruption to schedules, loads, or daily operations.

Seamless Install

The advertising frame is made from ultralight aluminum and is installed using a small number of waterproof rivets designed for commercial trailers. No glues or adhesives are used. If a campaign ends, the frame is removed and white waterproof rivets are installed, returning the trailer to its original appearance with no residue, damage, or visible impact.

What are the requirements?

Trailers or box trucks must meet size and condition standards suitable for frame installation and operate on consistent, repeatable routes. Drivers must run regular lanes and maintain DOT compliance. All applicants are reviewed before being approved for the network

What’s the payout?

Drivers are paid a monthly placement fee for participating in an active advertising campaign. Payouts are consistent and do not require changes to normal routes or driving behavior.

Do I lose control of my trailer?

No. Drivers retain full control of their equipment and routes. Participation does not require detours, schedule changes, or exclusive commitments beyond the campaign agreement.

How do installs work?

Our team handles installation and removal, typically completed during a standard 10-hour reset period at a truck stop or approved location. The process is designed to be simple and non-disruptive to normal operations.

What if I leave the network?

If a driver exits the program, the frame and graphics are removed by our team. The trailer is returned to its original condition, with waterproof rivets reinstalled and no adhesives, residue, or damage left behind.

What if frame or graphics gets damaged?

In the event of damage, reach out to one of our associates and we will schedule a time to make any repairs or reinstalls- this is a cost we take on ourselves. No risk to driver.

1. ENROLL

Owner-operators and fleet drivers can enroll in the BigRigBillboards waitlist to be considered for advertising placements. Drivers submit basic information about their trailer or box truck size, typical lanes and routes, operating regions, and run frequency. This allows our team to evaluate eligibility and match trailers with advertiser demand as campaigns become available.

2. Get Selected

Once an advertiser selects your routes/lanes, you will be notified that you have been selected for a contract.

3. Receive Driver Agreement

Once you confirm your ability to take on the specific contract & meet for the graphics install, a driver agreement will be emailed via DocuSign. Once completed, a representative of bigrigbillboards.com will reach out to schedule the install.

4. Ads Installed

The process takes under 5 hours from start to finish for both sides. We try and complete installs during the driver's rest period so there is no downtime on the road.

5. Get Paid

Payment is sent via ACH twice per month on the 1st and 15th.
